Our vet clinic consists of whoever happens to be stationed here at the time The vets here all have a tendency to rush in, give kitty its' shots, and rush out. There is little time in the lives of the military vets here to spend cuddling and playing I have seen a man and a woman with Boomer.

There are five vets where we go to, two men, three women, but we always try and see Marion, as she just loves our kids. The others are also very good with them.

I had to vote for both because my vet is in a group with two men and a woman. I love one of the men in particular but I usually get whoever is available when I go in, except for Ripley. The vet I love so much always sees Ripley since he operated on and took care of Ripley when he was shot and later when he had the serious blood infection that almost killed him.

Paxil's vet is a woman. Because Paxil has special care needs right now, I am going to leave her care in with the same doctor. She's perfectly competent and a very nice lady. I'm confident in her ability to care for Paxil.

However, my two most favorite vets, both men, just left my current clinic and opened their own. They officially opened today and all of my other animals will be going to them. Dr. Brown is far and away the best vet I've used. He's compassionate, gentle, knows his stuff and will admit when he doesn't know and seek help. His partner, Dr. Friendenburg, is a bit of a cat specialist. Between the two of them they have saved Pete's life repeatedly, patched up my dogs and solved many problems for me. When no solution exsisted for Hoodoo, Dr. Brown gave him a quick, painless, gentle release. I particularly like Dr. B because he can deal with me, even when I'm hysterical. I believe there is an art to dealing with an upset owner and he has it down pat.

Both of the vets I go to for small animals are men. For the dogs/cat I usually see a man but he is getting really old so sometimes I see the female doctor in the same office, she's awesome too.

My vet for the cats and dogs is a man. The rabbit, ferret and bird is a woman. Love them both VERY much. Very kind hearted down to earth people

Although there are 4 women vets and 4 men vets at the place we go, we generally see the women vets 90% of the time. It just seems to be the way the scheduling works.
I'm sometimes asked "Why do you spend so much of your time and money talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty to men?" I answer: "I am working at the roots." -George T. Angell, reformer (1823-1909)

I voted "woman" because it has always been a woman, but when I took snowy to the vet this morning, the vet was a man so I guess I should've said both.

Dr. Morris is the best and highly recommended.
