I'm 5'7"... but I think I may still be growing, been having a lot of growing pains lately.

LOL, this is off topic but my parents are like the odd couple, my Mom is only 4'11" and my Dad is 6'3". It's cute.

I'm only like 5'1" or 5'2". I'm soo short it sucks. I'm 14 but everyone thinks I'm 11 or 12! Good thing or bad thing?

It's a good thing, for now. You're probably not done growing yet, don't despair! I didn't reach my final 5'6" until I was 18. My Dad went in the Army just after he turned 17, (he graduated high school a year early, so did my mom) and so grew more than an inch during Basic Training, so when he finally got to wear his "dress" uniform the issued him when he joined, it didn't fit anymore, and he got in trouble for it!

I'm 5'7" which is about 2 in taller than the rest of the women in my family (excluding the oddball - Aunt Mary - who is 6') Dustin is 6'1" which is fine with me, means I always have a shoulder to rest my head on.

OK, either the majority of poll responders are not done growing, or we're all sitting on our butts on Pet Talk getting shorter!!! Welcome to gravity.

My sister is 19 and 5 foot on the dot, she still is mistaken for a 12 year old all the time.

And thats the fact of the matter.

I'm actually 173cm. A bit of a shorty. My partner though is about 169cm so she is the shorty of the family. Not including the kids though that even on two paws only reach my stomach.
What that is in feet & inches I'm a bit too crook to get my brain into gear for that one.

I am 4'11" and have to use a step stool to reach the top of the blackboard in class! My husband is 6'2" so we look like Manda Moo's parents too! I don't mind being short except when I am trying to reach high shelves in the supermarket LOL

P.S. Even here in China I am shorter than most of my students!

I am 5 foot nothing. Very hard being short- I don't like it. Wish I was a little taller.

I guess that I'm one of the tall ones here since I'm some where between 5'9" and 5'10". I always hated being tall but now I like it because if I gain a little weight it never really shows. My Mom is 6'1" and was this tall when she was only 12 years old. My Dad is 5'11" and my brothers are both around 6'5" or so. I'm the short one in my family.

I'm used to metric system as well. Here is the conversion:

    173 cm = 67.5 inches = 5' 7.5"
    169 cm = 65.9 inches = 5' 5.6" or 5' 6" if you like
