oh yay! Im glad you posted some photos of it! and wow youre moving so fast! lol I feel dorky sometimes too when I tell people I scrapbook. hahaha my sister is a hardcore scrapbooker, and she sort of got me into it like.. man, 8 years ago? but she is SO AMAZING at it, its kind of intimidating, and its not really my thing (plus its expensive! and I didnt have a job back when I first started) so I only have 1 scrapbook done. havent worked on it in probably 5 years at least lol. I just have my europe scrapbook that Ive been trying to finish for over 2 years- BORING. like you said, Brock (well and my mews), are the only things Im interested enough in to spend all the time and energy scrapbooking. lol in fact the majority of the scrapbook I have completed is of my pets.

your pages are looking so awesome! its making me very excited to get started on Brock's!!! I cant believe this is your first scrapbook! Ive seen a lot of scrapbooks, and yours is 300 times better than the majority of them. lol I love the black reggie & sydney page, and the "dog bone times" one looks awesome too! love the white outlines of the photos on it. (did you cut around the edges on those photos, or were the backgrounds already white??) also, that middle photo on the 1st xmas page is a total Brock face. and I LOVE the photos on the page with the poem- nebo is so gorgeous! oh and I just noticed- Brock has that green bandana from your front page too.

Excellent!! I wish I had the time or the ability to make scrapbooks for my dogs....i have 4X6 album I putmy favorite pictures in for each of them, but nothing as creative or extensive as what you ahve been able to do!

Wow, I loved every page. Ok, be honest, how much time did they take you?

I would love to do a scrapbook, but I don't have a lot of time. For my sisters graduation the parents of each graduate (there were only 17) were suppose to put together a display table of them. Well my parents have never cared to get involved with anything concerning my sister or me, so I put together her table. I made a scrapbook type thing on a couple big display boards. It came out pretty good. The problem was finding the time to sit down and work on it. Almost every night for weeks I would work on it from around 11:00 until 1:00 or even 2:00. It was fun, but it wore me out.

I glued the pics onto white paper and cut around to make the white edges. You HAVE to post pics when you do Brocks scrapbook, I bet it will be great!

I'm not sure exactly...the actual 'putting it together' doesn't take that long. What I do first is sort through all my pics I have for each page. I cut them down to as many as will fit. Then I find a background I like and try to arrange the pics. That is the hard part, deciding how you want it arranged. Once you have that figured out the rest is easy!

Was it expensive to make?

It adds up really fast, so I'd have to say yes. The actual scrapbook was $15 and it came with 10 sheets (20 pages). To buy extra pages for this particular scrapbook it's $5 for only 5 sheets which doesn't last me long. The paper is around 50 cents per sheet which doesnt sound like much but after you buy a ton of it it is! Then there's getting my digital pictures printed which is about 19 cents a picture....I've spent waaaay too much on that....stickers, other various stuff...yeah it's not cheap. I don't even want to know how much I've spent already. But I think it's worth it in the end.

Its so expenisive up here for those things too! The scrapbook which contains 20 pages costs $24.98 and each set of pages which includes: a couple of theme pages, stickers, stencils, little decorations are $5.98 each...but I can't seem to find any of the dog pages! Like the dog house and such! Would I be able to find those at Wal-Mart do you think

yeah my sister uses mostly creative memories for her scrapbook supplies, because apparently they are the safest, and thats what Ive used in the past. but for Brock's scrapbook Im just going to use the cheaper stuff because first of all, Im sure it will still last a long time, just not necessarily FOREVER, and 2nd, Im also going to be using digital prints, so if they get ruined its not a huge deal. plus Im the only person whos going to be looking at the scrapbook pretty much. its not like Im making scrapbooks of my children that will be passed down from generation to generation. lol

The doghouse and dog newspaper are Karen Foster designs. I got them at a store called For Every Scrapbook. Here's the website where I think you can order some or locate a retailer that sells those designs. http://www.karenfosterdesigns.com I have some other sheets that I haven't used yet as well as a bunch of dog related stickers.

I'm not caring whether I'm using the best stuff either, it's just a scrapbook I'm making for fun. I'm just buying stuff that I like from various stores, I don't care if it's the best. Even the cheap stuff gets expensive though.
