I just love the ones you all have come up with. I'll give it a shot quick myself .

Tasha my girl, so lovely and sweet
Curled up with legs all tucked in and neat
When the door opens, it's off to the races
With strangers she may lack some social graces
For me, she makes life complete.

Ok that's my attempt, I'll have to try Tommy later. It's off to work with me
Mom to Raven and Rudy the greyhound

Very cute...i am glad everyone is giving it a shot...they sound great!

BTW, K9soul, Dale lacks social graces with strangers, at time, too.

Aspen thinks himself quite the prince,
    Nobility within his own fence.
But when scared in the dark,
His fool head he will bark
That's the truth for you ladies and gents!

and for my dear girl . . .

My Gaia is most strong and lean,
    Prettiest rott i have seen
    She loves me quite mad,
    For that I am glad
As she worships me like I am her queen!

I will have a try at it.

Snoopy, my dog, has a bunch of spots.
    He loves everyone, even tots.
He fills our lives full of joy.
He is such a sweet, loving boy.
We love our Snoopy lots and lots.

    Dazzi is our special girl.
    More precious than any pearl.
She doesn't chase a ball or sticks.
    But knows several other tricks.
Sit, lay down, shake and twirl.

Jack came to us from Kentucky
He was quite dirty and smelled yucky.
    We gave him a bath.
He made us all all laugh.
And now we all feel quite lucky!

Pippi is our new little missy
    She really is quite kissy
She loves to chase the others
She is not afraid of her brothers
Our Pippi is not any sissy!

    One for Tommy .

Tommy is my big red boy
    Always looking for another toy
    A ball or a log
    Or even another dog
He will play with puppyish joy

Good one for Tommy! By the way, I loved everyone else's too.

    Now here's one for Taggert

    Taggert just loves to bark.
In the light and in the dark.
He tears the stuffing from his toys.
Digging is another of his joys.
And he loves running at the park.

Baby Bon is such a joy,
He is my Tori's favorite boy,
    They run and they play,
    Most of the day
Tori thinks Bon is a toy.
Of course I don't mind Robin It was too cute!

I love all of these...keep them coming!
