What is the most significant thing that has happened to you this year..?

My niece, Jasmine, was born in January
I got a new job in April
We finally found a way to help Cincy with her allergies.
My 10 year old nephew was cancer free for the 5th straight year..he is now cured!
My BIL got married
After 5 years, I am fianlly going to visit my best friend in St Louis (leaving the 19th of this month!)

Neagatives:
Cincy went through two bouts of illness
I had a gall bladder attack and am now facing surgery in December (and not atall happy about it!)


I'm sure there have been others, both good and bad, but it is so hard to think back a year!!!

My grandmother - the one who was always there for me- passed away on April 5th.
My great - uncle who I was close to, passed away November 1st.
I got a rowdy little kitten, Kloe, on Sept 20th!

Good:
- I graduated high school
- Entered college
- Turned 18, and had the best birthday party ever!
- Got my license and a car!
- Got a job working at a bakery
- Went to two PT meetings!

Bad:
- Megan got stones again and I'm still trying to pay the surgery off.. *sighs* (Just $688 more to go! *hits head on wall* lol)


Can't think of anything else at the moment...

Those are some of the most significant things to happen to me this year. This year has, overall, been pretty depressing, but it's getting better.

*Rescued Jonah

*Worked in a dramatic veterinary clinic where I met three life long friends...and many scary people I don't ever want to talk to again. This job taught me how to deal with the worlds most difficult people.

*Got my ideal job for my current situation. Its going to be a wonderful beginnig for a lot of new things in my life. Its also restored me to who I am, its amazing how you can lose yourself when surrounded by negativity..

*Clarity and strength on a huge issue that's been bothering me for three years. Once you make a decision you know in your heart is right, its amazing how much weight is lifted off you.

*I'm no longer afraid of the doctor, hospitals or anything that could go wrong with me healthwise. This is HUGE, a few years ago I'd rather die in my closet than set foot in an ER or hospital.

2004 has been a year for growing for me. Its been frustrating, but necessary.

A whole lot happened to me this year. So Let's see:

In Febuary finally left a job I used to adore cos it turned to be very bad. (Bosses where seperating) Too much negativity

March - April was working on a Canadian film by the name of Clarion's Call, being filmed here in Malta. People where fantastic

April- May flew with my husband to Cairo for a month, where we travelled all over Egypt and visited also Petra in Jordan. It was my dream holiday to travel only with hubby, guide book and back pack! Also got my open water and advanced in scuba diving in the Red Sea (for pics click on this link: http://www.pbase.com/karyn674/root)

Saved Pippa and eventually kept her at my mum's house!

Still struggling to make Pippa and Lulu friends, but to no avail.

- Fred, Oscar, Chloe, and Suzie passed away.

-Rescued Peanut in September

-Rescued Buster in October

-Got in a car accident, couple of days later my dad accused me of doing it on purpose, sparked a huge war between us now I am ignoring him and have nothing to do with him. Mom was pi$$ed at him.

- I got to meet the Arabian of my dreams, Buckwheat/ CZ Dukati

- I got a good paying job

There is more, but I don't want to post it.

-I broke my arm

-My horse got injured

OOPS! I forgot my poor kitty. LOL. Yes, he is very signifigant. He' definatly turned my life around. He's alot of work, and I'm grateful for the responsibility.

I guess the pics are kind of overdue! My computer still isn't up and running (atleast my internet isn't) but we are working on it. Plus I'll have a new camera after Christmas (Boxing Day shopping! ), so in the future atleast the pics will come out clearly. I'll send my pictures to Ashley and have her scan them for me. They are old, but better than nothing!

Lots of things happened, good and bad!

- I visited South Africa
- I was brought to ER because of a blood clod; stayed 1 week
- my brother-in-law who built our house died from lungcancer
- I got severe back problems, and when my leg got paralysed too, I spent another 16 days in hospital
- I got very hurt emotionally

not very positive I am afraid....
