    Oh that reminds me - I was born during the reign of George VI and remember the day he died - we listened to it on the radio in the school hall and then we were sent home - I was too young to know what it all meant. I remember the Coronation - 'cos we had a day off school(!!) that was everso good -even though it rained!!

    david p, I'm 4 months older than you. HAH, gotcha I've earned every wrinkle on this face and proud of it.. I can still hold my own though, with one paw tied behind my back.. and I can watch YOUR back... just you wait and see

    My father, who passed away in 2000 at 96,was under every president from Teddy Roosevelt thru Bill Clinton! I don't know how many that is!!
