I am so glad she's home safely. I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner. Both horse and me have been sick. Give her a big hug from me and Duke, ok?

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

RIP Dear Dan xxx
Thanks everyone!!! I gave Daphne lots of hugs and kisses and biscuits from you all. ^_^
I was thinking that too. We got the fence like 2-3 months ago, and this is the third time she went through. (both other times though I was luckily outside with her and saw her escape, and followed her down the street to bring her home) If there's something really tempting on the other side she doesn't seem to care about the shock.Originally posted by Kfamr
I hope this doesn't sound rude, but possibly is it time to invest in a real fence?I'll have to convince my mom and stepdad. Maybe if we just did the back yard they'd be okay with it?
I try to do that too. I like being outside.Originally posted by K9soul
We have the underground fence thing too and I always worry anyway, but our yard is huge and we just cannot afford to fence it at this time. I almost always go out with them or at least watch from the doorway while they are out thoughBut it's hard because there's 5 other people in the house who let Daphne out, and I'm not always home. A real fence would make me feel better I think though.
