What a busy group we are today................all of us eating and drinking

Huckleberry pie - hot with homemade ice cream. I have died and gone to heaven! (sorry about eating the dessert first)

Wow - look at those ribs on the BBQ - and the corn..............
    um um um um yum!

Beer - funny, I usually don't like beer, but I had a Boddington's the other day that was out of this world - with that yummy creamy froth. I would like one of those, please.

Laurie, good eggs - but I betcha I make them better than you

    (the guantlet has been thrown)

Captain, would you like a glass for that whine?

Hey everybody, just a quick check in from me too. It's been nuts around here so not much time for the bar. Therefore I would like a pitcher of Margaritas please. That way I don't have to keep stopping back for a refill.....at least until the pitcher is gone.

Slick, too bad you're so far away, IT assitant huh? What's the pay?

Hope everyone has a mah-ve-lous day. The sun is shining here (finally) and it's a be-u-te-ful day! I'm off to meet Barbara, Siegmar, Sara and Don for dinner tonight, and they all get to meet T & P! I'll be sure and have my camera handy.

I'll try and check in again this afternoon, will probably need a refill on that pitcher......

Oh Debbie, I'm green with envy! But, have a great time - all of you! I'll have another drink to say Cheers!! I need it anyway! Can you belive it!? A guy got shot at yesterday evening , just down the road on the next corner. I didn't hear a thing though. I did see a fire engine turning up, they had driven the stolen car further up and tried to burn it. They hit the guy (another criminal, I believe) twice in the leg and once in his behind - a young woman who happened to pass by, was also hit in her hand. She had absolutely nothing to do with it!

What has this world come to!!!

Stuff like that happens every night in downtown Washington DC (that's why it's referred to as the "murder capitol of the world" ) But by the time that crap starts I'm home in my safe little neighborhood in the 'burbs. Safe that is unless there's a sniper in da hood, like last year . But Copenhagen?? That surprizes me. How's about you and I grab a pitcher of Richards slushies just for the two of to share Randi, I'll buy. We can sit on the back porch on some rocking chairs and sing simple cowboy tunes or something

"Gimme land lots of land and the starry skies above,
    but don't fence me in.........."

    Here's one of my favs..

    Out in Arizona
    Where the bad men are,
And the only friend to guide you
    Is an evening star,
The roughest, toughest man by far
    Is Ragtime Cowboy Joe.
    Got his name from singing
    To the cows and sheep
    Every night they say
He sings the herd to sleep
In a basso rich and deep,
    Crooning soft and low.

    How he sings,
    Raggy music to his cattle
    As he swings
Back and forward in his saddle
    On his horse
    (A pretty good horse),
    Who is syncopated gaited,
And with such a funny meter
To the roar of his repeater.

Hi everyone. Its an absolutely beautiful day here in the rose city.

Gini - save a piece of that pie for me!

T&P - I'd say it looks like you managed to make yourself that pitcher of margaritas.

DJF - maybe I can find a beer like that one they had on the Drew Cary show, the beer with caffiene.

What a great BBQ everyone. Mario looks so cute eating those baby-back, baby-back, baby-back ribs.

mo-mo, one cherry iced tea and four catnip teas - done.

Randi - Yikes - how scary.

lb - I'd never try to fence you in.

State Song? I think ours is something really boring about pioneers and stuff like that. Although there was once a movement to try to get Louie, Loue adopted as the state song. or was that up north in the state of Washington?

Louie Louie, oh, no. me gotta go - yea, yea, yea, yea.

These are not the droids you were looking for

    Lunchtime here. What's cookin'?

It's hotter than blazes so I think I'll have a nikked beer in an ice-cold frosty glass.

I was going to sing but with all your beautiful voices, I'm afraid I could clear the room

Oh No, someone grab Mario. He's running around with this diaper in his hand......
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Awww, thanks Laurie, that sounds like an excellent idea! Let's also hear Alvin Lee's new CD as we rock away.

Yeah, Copenhagen is not what it used to be, but some would still call it provincial - anyway, I should have gone along to Chigaco!!
