Bosmom, yeah, Big clearly isn't pure manx, one reason is because his mom isn't! Only the last few vertebra in his tail are compressed. Cookie, Big's tux sister, has the rounded, short-bodied look of a manx, and at 13 pounds she's above average for a girl kitty, but she has no other Manx characteristics. I suspect they had the same daddy, and he probably was an and-white with a large portion of manx blood.
