I recently finished The Hospital by the River by Dr Catherine Hamlin.

She and her late husband have worked for 40 years in Ethiopia as gynaecologists. They've treated more than 20,000 women with serious women's health issues that are easily preventable in the Western world.

I was in tears at the end of chapter one, but it's really a story of kindness and hope.

Excellent book if you're looking for some Easter reading.
