I was invisible for a while because I realized how much I was online and lurking... I felt like people were thinking "geesh, she is always online! doesn't she have any kind of life?" I was kinda embarassed at that.

But then I noticed that I was spending less time on boards that looked like nobody else was reading/potentially posting. Why should I have been the only one lurking there? Even if I do lead a pathetic life, I want to be with someone in cyberspace!

So now I'm out in the open and anybody can think what they want! I'll admit I'm a PT addict!

I really don't know why................honestly, I've had my status set to invisible since the day I signed up, and never made it visible. I don't know how it feels to be visible.

Ps. I sure hope this thread doesn't make the rest of PT go invisible.

It's OK. Take my hand quick!!!!!! It's only 4 days until Thursday!!!!! Stay with me, now.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I'm always visible. I don't care who sees that I'm online. I never lurk anyway, I can't keep my mouth shut for more than five minutes. I've just got to post something.

For heavens sake - this is PET TALK!! You don't have to feel embaressed to be online. We're all PT addicts, more or less. I'm online all day long, but it doesn't mean I'm here all the time - I come and go, and I'm doing other things on my computer too, but keep PT open.

In general, I think it's only polite to "show your face" when you're on, but I DO understand some have their reasons not to be.

Also, you may want to send someone a PM, but when you see they're "offline" you tend to wait, or not send it at all.

If anyone have problems with getting nasty PM's, you can always contact Karen or Paul.

LOL honestly, for awhile I was visible, then I'd come check threads and constantly see my name as the only one there (probably because everyone else was invisible!). I got to feeling self conscious about it. I know it's silly, but I did

Quick Tray, put on a trench coat and wrap your face in gauze. Then we can see you and pull you back As for me, I just like pretending to be Lamont Cranston * who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of PetTalkers * heh heh heh * rubs hands together with a wicked grin *

I have my trench coat and my face is now wrapped in gauze. Can you see me now? I like pretending to be 007, or was he ever invisiable?

I have always been visable. I don't care who knows I am on PT. I also don't look to see who else is on.

I like to sneak up on you.

No, actually, I really don't know why. Sometimes I do like to lurk.
