We nebber seen a Fall like dis wun...

Three weeks ago it got reel WARM onna weekend - sooooo ~
We went off to go *SWIMMIN* agin!

Hadda bit of a problemo, tho...
Da klose-bye swimmin hole dint have much wadder!
Da US Army Engineers Guyz alluz pull da plug inna Dams an let da waddur run downa drain - gotta make room fur da Winter snow anna Spring rainz. An "our" docks dont float (Dad sez they're solid Konkreet) - so it'z a LOOOONG way down to da waddur.

We headed off to anudder lake wiff floatin dockz atta boat launch. Lil bit more waddur - but allua Boat Drivurs were tryin ta get wun more day onna Lake in... Reel *pain-inna-butt* when ya gotta dodge a buncha peepil that keep gettin inna way onna Swim Dock (BOAT Dock)!
Hadda Great Tyme til da SunBall went home urlee an it got a bit nippie!

Now this week da Weathur Guy been promissin gonna be almost HOT ober da weekend...
An Dad's been checkin da Army Engineers' Lake Levels = not gud...
But Mosquito Creek Reservoir iz onlee down a foot anna half frum "summer pool"! Dad sez it's a bit of a drive; but we'll go check er out.
Hadda pick up our Bud - Miz Cali - uppa street (we'z Dawggie, Kat, an Horsey-sittin fur two daze), an we all headed up North...

NICE Marina - lotta boat docks (covered wiff Sea-Gulz), LOTTA waddur;
and REEL NICE boat launchin rampz... Looong docks an onlee
a coupla feet *down* to da waddur!
GREAT fur Dawg Swimmin!

eee-Yipes! Bit-uvva-NIPP inna waddur!!
Glad da SunBall's *out*!!

We swum fur a kuppla hours -
till Dad noticed our toofz wuz chatterin a bit...

We dried off inna Sun an took a stroll round da Park. NICE Place!

Dad sed we're all going back agin on Sunday -
gonna be 65 or more ticks onna thermo-stick!

He sed we hadda make a stop furst...
Drove half way round da Lake an pulled in anudder boat launchin place.
No floatin dockz - jest konkrete steps down to da waddur.
We park; onlee ME gets out onna leash;
Smokey *whines*, Miz Cali looks *wurried*.
Dad getz a lil buckit outta da trunk...

I'z gettin Bad Vibes...
Dad sez "Jump In".

How'z come, when HE getz hungrie, we head for a MickeyD Store?
When WE get hungrie, it'z Alluz NOT Din-Din Tyme...!?
We all gotz a *taste* -
durn SMALL wun, we mite add...
then headed back inna Park.

We dun enuff Yippin & Yappin that we all got back out
an did a bunch more *SWIMMIN*!!
Waddur wuz purdy *nippie*,
but we kept either swimmin or runnin back out onna dock,
so nunbuddie got too chillie...

Dad finally sed we better get out an dry off -
while da SunBall wuz still shinin...
So we took a walk inna grass an thunk bout chasin da Canada Geese...
But Dad sed they jest mite Chase Back -
an der wuz a LOT more of THEM than *us*...
We settled fur a nice Walk Inna Park...

Lotta *snooorin* inna back seet onna way home!
Bout tyme fur Miz Cali's Mom & Pop ta get home an call fur her,
So we'll sine off an go see if Miz Johanna gotz back home yet.

but gave up an we drove down to da Boat Launch...

I didn't get any pictures, but Cincy and Taggert both did some unplanned swimming today....

I took all 5 dogs over to my aunt's house to visit Dazzi and run in my aunt's yard. She has 3 small garden ponds and two were completely frozen over. The third stay partially unfrozen becayse there is a heater in it and that is where all her fish live during the winter. Well, With all the snow it was a bit difficult to tell where the ponds were, so the dogs were running across them all....but Cincy got too close to the edge of the solid ice, and in she went! My aunt took her in and dried her off and she came back out to run. A little later, Taggert went in...that's when I decided it was time to go home!!!
