mugsy, congratulations! Ohio still has kill shelters? What are we, barbaric? Yeah, I forgot...we still have morons in this state that are "entertained" by dog fighting...

I think my wife needs to know that we need to rescue at least 1 more Dobe!

mugsy, in the event that I could talk my wife into getting a 3rd pooch it would have to be a Dobie! Can a person become addicted to a particular breed?

I know it is a huge struggle to find homes for these dogs. My wife and I rescued Mitchy back in October and I can't fathom this boy being dumped by the moron breeder...he is a terrific boy!

I apologize that I can't take in another pooch...I would love to!

Not only does Ohio still have kill shelters, but some of the worst ones!! There are still counties that don't use lethal injection, but rather either shot the dogs, or gas them, sometimes by car exhaust! It is disgusting

If you want to read more about it or see some of the worst offenders there is a really good site, here

Come on dear, just one more dobe?
3 dogs seems to be the popular number right nowAnna got her 3rd last year, we got a third, lovemyshiba, delidog....all the cool kids are doing it!!!

mugsy, Jared is a beautiful boy. I've never seen a Dobe with that coloring before.

Unfortunately, as I mentioned I am not able to get another pooch at the moment.

However, you let me know the minute you get a Dobe in!

I've figured it out...bring your wife and the boys to the Dog Park on the 13th to meet all the "cool" people from Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Utah, etc, etc, and let your wife see how well the "3's" of dogs get along, AND let Molly have at her face to face...Molly is a hard person to say no to!!!
