Me too! Do those things suck up the dog hair or what?!?!? I'm weird, I love to empty the caninster thingy after every room and see all the "stuff" that used to sit in the bag of my old regular one! The first time I used it I had to empy it 4-5 times in each room!! YUCK!!!! It seems to really suck up the hair and the dirt better than anything I've ever used and I've had 2 $1200.00 ones!

Getting a Central Vac System installed was a good investment and I don't know how I managed without it! No more impurities being blown back into the air, and I don't have to dust as often. I don't have allergies, but it is certainly a bonus for those that do. Now, if only they could come up with a TRULY dust-free clumping litter, I would be ecstatic! Before the central vac I always had an Electrolux, because that is what I grew up with and my Mom swore by that brand.

We have a Dirt Devil upright Bagless, the feather light model (er whatever) it's good!

I have a Hoover upright. I have had it about 10 years, bought it second - hand. I like it very much.
