Ok, here's the news on Rex. I talked to Leigh Ann yesterday and she has had numerous apps on him. One couple was from Bluffton, which is a little town just south of us, and one was from a woman in Ohio (who Leigh Ann asked me if I knew). She is confident that he will be adopted really soon. She just has to pick the right one. Yeah for Rex, now if we could just move some of the others that they keep getting in.

Whoever it is to adopt Rex is a very lucky person!!!!!! Good for them!! Woohoo. I wish I was able to do it!

Sue, I'm sure that Leigh Ann will have one for you when you're ready...may not be a GSD, but it will be a life needing to be saved (like ALL shelters don't have the problem)

Sue, I just talked to Leigh Ann and Rex is still available. She is fostering him, so he's not at the shelter and not in any danger. They are getting 5 or 6 apps on him everyday, so she feels that she can be really picky about where he goes.

Thanks so much for the update, Molly. I was wondering about him. I thought he was adopted by now. He is so gorgeous. Yes, she should be picky for this very special boy. Believe me, I was so tempted, but Killi is not well, so my hands are tied. Please let me know when he is adopted and to whom.
