I was thinking that it sounds like Gaylord was sent to you for a reason. Do you think you could keep him?? It sounds like he's a match made in heaven for Killi. Again, I echo, you are such an angel.

They did mention that it might take a while to adopt him out. I, of course said ok. lolOriginally posted by AdoreMyDogs
How long is he going to be fostered for? Have they any idea? Is it possible that he's not going to get adopted out, but stay with you?
hehehe g/l is sitting next to me as I type. he wants something but I don't know what. We just went outside to potty (he didn't). It's snowing out and he eats snow. He and Shiloh are both moaning/whining/squeeking/talking now..... sheesh! LOL

Molly, if it weren't for the stairs situation and possible HD, he would be great for us. I have stairs everywhere you want to get to. (hmm, maybe little ramps all over the house.....) LOL

To echo everyone else, you are an angel Sue. And Gaylord is an angel for you too, helping Killi out! How great that he is eatingmore and more playful! Hope things continue to go well and the HD comes back negative.
Where's *up North* Sue?Originally posted by Sudilar
I will send him up North to have them done because they do them for the rescue very reasonably. Good. We won't worry about that yet, until he completely recovers from the tumor and neutering surgeries. Poor boy.

Angel sent from heaven you are Sue! Poor Gaylord, get well soon pup! Hugs from Phoebe and Deisel sent to you!
There's a vet in Skokie who helps out, Rachel. It's a good thing I don't have to take him there for everything. The place I take him to now is 35-40 minutes away.Originally posted by Rachel

Sue, I am so glad to hear that his tumor was benign. So sorry to hear about his leg hurting him. He is such a gorgeous and sweet guy. I have fallen in love with him through your posts and picture.
I don't have a digital camera, so I'm working on using up a roll of film to show you what this poor skinny baby looks like. Everyday I tell him that I love him. I wonder if he has ever heard those words before? No wonder his leg is hurting. They kept him outside all the time with not much people contact, I'm sure. He loves to be petted and rubbed. He just talks and talks (just like my Wolf would). Shiloh will come over and groan and talk back, too. He is such a love. I can't wait til he feels better. We go to the vet again tomorrow, to see how the stitches are doing. I'm going to see when the vet thinks that he could have x-rays taken. Then I'll send him up to Skokie to have it done. The aspirin doesn't do a thing for him.![]()
