Happy Birthday, my dear Fister!

I can hardly believe it was 13 years ago we searched the yard trying to find you. When we came back from our holiday, we could see your mom had given birth, but she was an expert hiding you - and your sister. After three days of searching, we found you!

We didn't really have plans of taking you up in the flat, as we liked to travel a lot, but we just could not resist you, so we slowly enticed you up the staircase further and further - and now, you're the boss here!

Fister, you have become a real cuddle bug and I love it of course! When I get ready for bed, you are so sweet - you will come rushing and plump yourself down in front of me and knead into my arms (a good thing I have clipped your nails!), and then settle down right in front of me, headbutting my chin. You will even let me lean my book on you.

Fister, I love you very very much and I so hope we can have many more good years togeher!

Fister says....

Fister, you can bet that I have shrimps for you!

In fact, we started celebrating yesterday, and he got some yummy canned food too. We have agreed to spread it over three days, so that Fister won't get sick.

This morning, we got up a little later, because we were woken up by a fierce thunderstorm in the night, but we've been down in the yard to chew some grass and explore a bit, and then back up for a good brushing.

Tigris and Filou say that 13 is the bestest age for handsome cat boys- whether they are orange or not.

I still haven't figured out how to post a sharp video clip, I have to stream it from .mov to mpeg-4 to get it on Photobucket, and the quality is getting even worse there.

Here's Fister in the yard, he just came down and is checking out who is there. In the second, he's chewing grass. And in the third, he's reaching for a shrimp.
