Thanks, I try! I like to keep my age hidden sometimes to avoid being labeled a 'kid'. Sometimes we younger people are treated with less repect... for instance, I have been cut in lines at stores many times by adults, or the cashiers will ignore me thinking I am just with some adult parent behind me (the fact that I am so short I still look twelve doesn't help either! ). But it's not like that here, so I'll admit I am sweet sixteen

Daisy's Mom, you're right...it's a wise idea not to tell people your age on the internet, if you're a young person. Fortunately, these Pet of the Day boards are way above average in the way they're moderated & in the great attitudes of the people who contribute. But as a general rule, it's good for the young to keep their age hidden as you do.
The maturity & good communication that you & BoxerLover have shown means that you are just the same as the rest of us...at a great site like this.
