So funny you should mention Great Pyr! I had seen pictures but never had the opportunity to see one in person until a few months ago! He was a 4month old big bundle of fur, play, smiles! I recognized it immediately and just fell in love! I could have played with it all day!!!

I of course agree with you basset hound lovers! Those long velvety ears, the short stubby legs, that tail constantly wagging, the droopy... well, everything! And that bark of theirs is hysterical. One of the best Basset aspects is that they are so flexible, they really fit to your life. I once read in a basset book that bassets can be both "avid hunter and couch potato, serious loyal pet or droopy clown!" That definitely sums up my Daisy.
