Surgery cancelled... Vet sure it's cancer

Iris just hasn't been herself for the past few days. She's been lethargic (if you can call a cat that) limping, not able to jump well, and eating, but not as much as she usually does. I'm worried. She's a middle aged cat, far too young to be seriously ill!

We're going to the vet at 4:30. Please pray that nothing is seriously wrong!
Update: the vet found a mass in her leg He took a blood sample and is sending it off. She will have surgery on Thursday unless they find bad news on the lab reports.

We went in this morning. Labs were good, but after thinking on it and re-inspecting the mass, the vet is sure it's cancer. She came home with two weeks worth of prednisone, and an appointment for two weeks from now to evaluate. I don't think she'll be with us much longer.
