I'm also old. This December I'll be the big 40! I don't feel this old and people tell me I don't look that old. I wish I could be 25 forever.

Hey! Who says 40 is old??!?!?! I turned 40 in February and I don't feel a day over...21! Well...except those mornings when it's soooo hard to get out of bed, and all these darn gray hairs that just won't go away. I remember when my mom turned 40 and I thought she was sooooo old ('course I was all of 15 at the time), now I say you're not old until you're 85 or so.

Thanks Lynne, you have made me feel better. 40 in September?
Would I want to be 40 again? Somehow, I don't think so, I am pretty happy right here. Life is good!

Age is totally state of mind! I know 20/30 year olds that act like they are 80!! And I know many 60 year olds that act like they are 25!

This is an interesting poll...some people are younger then I would have guessed, and some older. I am 26.

Personally, call me crazy and then hit me but I can't wait to be older! Like 40 or so. Well acctauly I can't wait to be like 85. (in most cases) Your married, you have someone who you are goign to be with for the rest fo your life, you are retired. You will have grand kids who love to come over and see you. You have kids who no longer live with you . You just know how your life will pretty much be. I'm exited to get old. Find out who I marry, if we stay togerher, if I accomplish my dreams, if I have kids, where I work, if I like my job or hate it, what pets I have, what college I go to, what I get my degree in. I dunno, maybe its me.

  14. I do jazzercise with a woman who is 77. She does more pushups than I do. She just left town to take two of her granddaughters on an Alaskan cruise. Then she is going to Europe for five weeks. I admit $$ helps but what she really has is a focus on healthy living (although she enjoys a cocktail or glass of wine!) exercise, and having fun. She looks 10 - 15 years younger than she is and is such fun to be around.

I want to be like her when I grow up!

Edwina's Secretary: That is soo cool! I want to be like that too! The wife of the person who married us is 62....she looks like a very classy 40...it's amazing how well people can look and act if they have the right perspective...
