I would never buy a Dell again because not only have I had some problems with it but they LIED to me about what the extra $150 I paid for "technical phone support" was for. I specifically asked 2 different people and they verified it was for phone software support, so I plunked down the extra $150 only to find out a month later when I needed to call in about a problem that my money went to pay for HARDWARE support ONLY! They said if I wanted software support that I'd have to call another number and give my credit card info and they charge per minute for support!!Originally Posted by Maltese_Love

My Gateway I have had some issues with also (mostly microsoft issues) the phone support was EXCELLENT and I didn't even have to pay extra for it!
I'd NEVER buy a Dell again but I would buy a Gateway again.
