Wow, everyone's RB dogs are all beautiful animals. I'm so glad to
know that they were all so loved in their lifetime.

Our sweet Greta who died in August. I still call Spencer to go outside, and call him Greta all the time..gone, but never forgotten, and forever missed till we meet again.

Camped out at the local diner one of her favorite establishments in town!

Look at that tongue! I sure miss having her to keep orphaned kittens clean.

I miss those brown doe eyes, and the way she'd fall into a trance when she got her chest scritchies.

    mousse and ginger

These are our two babies that are at the Rainbow Bridge now. The first one is mousse he passed on 12-24-04 and the second one is ginger she passed 11-22-06. They were the most wonderful, loving babies ever. Rest in peace, mommy loves you.

Here are some pictures of our beloved DJ Dog. He went to the RB on March 16th, 2005. It was so difficult not having him around the house, we got Zoee on April 8th, 2005.
These pictures show DJ (Dog Johnson) doing some of his favorite things. Fetching the tennis ball out at the lake, performing stupid pet tricks for dad, and hanging out in the backyard.
Late February, early March of 2005 we noticed DJ was not as active as he usually was. Then he began coughing and wheezing alot. So his daddy took him to the vet on Friday March 11th. The vet said he needed to go to the sugery center immediately. So he went there and they ran some tests and DJ came home with Daddy for the weekend. All weekend DJ coughed and wheezed and we could tell he was in pain. We would wake up with him in the middle of the night and just pet him and talk to him to help calm him.
The following Monday he went back to the surgery center where they performed surgery to remove an abcyst (not sure if that's spelled correctly) from his lung. He seemed to be doing okay after the surgery. But then when they would remove his oxygen he would begin coughing again.
On Wednesday afternoon I got a call at work asking if I wanted to come say good-bye to DJ. I worked over 30 miles away and it takes usually an hour to get home due to traffic. I left work immediately. While I was stuck in traffic, my boyfriend called to see where I was. I could hear DJ trying to breath in the background. I told him not to wait for me, to go ahead and put him to rest. Not even five minutes later he called me back and it was quiet. (Wow, tears are still flowing) When I got to the surgery center and saw him lying on the table I lost it!! I never thought I would touch a dead animal or anything, but I stood there and pet DJ's nose. DJ was 8 years old.

Reading all of these other stories and seeing all of the pictures of these beautiful dogs that were so loved....I'm going to need to stock up on tissues around here.
    Thank you all for sharing.

Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Just looking at all these pictures brings tears to my eyes, to think they have all gone on to the bridge.

I have to post my beautiful girl, Dana, who was shot right in my back yard by an unknown person.

    I miss her so much!

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

Here's my heart dog, Graham. I still cry over him on a regular basis. Losing him was the hardest thing I've ever gone threw. He was one of those special dogs that people just loved to love. He was a gentle spirit and I wish he was still with me. Not a day goes by that I don't miss my little angel.

I took this one at Anna's in November of 2004. It's been a favorite ever since. I had to search a while to find it.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Sorry this project is sort of delayed.. I am sure you all will understand!

I will still be doing it eventually, so keep the pictures coming. They are all precious.

Hope sometime tomorrow won't be too late. I'll get Murphy's and Zipper's for you, Kay. I'm sure it will be very, very special, whatever you are creating.

EDIT: If I would read beyond the first message, I would know that it is fine if I wait until later than tomorrow! Sorry. I still will post pictures for when you are ready, though.

This is my best friend Angie. One of the worst days of my life was when she went to the RB. I think about her everyday and every night I blow her a kiss. She was very special.

This is Molly Brown. She is a chihuahua ,she was soo tiny when she was born that the skin on her stomach was thin enough to see her insides soo sad. Still makes me tear up. June 1, 2006 - June16,2006
