This is a picture of Rutherford (orange foster cat) and Marvin (black and white foster cat). This was taken during the time they were getting to know each other. They had never met, but the same wonderful lady adopted them both.


I received an email today to inform me that Rutherford (who is now called Rufus) is dying! Most likely it is cancer with a second possibility of FIP. Either way, they have exhausted options to help him.

It is very sad. Rutherford had come from an extremely shy/scared little boy to a wonderful/loving young cat who is only about 2-3 years old.

His life may be cut short, but he has brightened the lives of his mewomie and his former foster mommy.

PRAYERS for Rutherford to stay pain free for as long as possible. Thank you.
