    Baby Alden and Sara- UPDATED!!!! YIPPEE!!!!! HE IS HERE!!!

    Baby Alden is HERE!!!!!

    After giving it her all, Baby Alden was born via c-section at 933pm Thursday evening (July 6th). He weighed 9 lbs 9 ounces, and was 22 inches long!! No, those are NOT typos.

    Mom and baby are resting comfortably, Alden is nursing well, Sara is recuperating, and **should** be home by Sunday. She will update with pics, then.

    She sounded exuberant, of course, but, tuckered out, too.

    Yippee! Another PT baby is born. I can't wait for more information!!!!!

    NOW, I can go on vacation.

    YAY - Welcome to the world BIG BOY Alden!!

    (Guess you won't have much use for the tiny newborn onesies )

    Congrats and huge (((HUGS))) Sarah. Take it easy, be kind to yourself, don't overdo things and if ANYONE offers help with ANYTHING say YES - now is not the time to be a superhero - you will heal much quicker if you don't overstress yourself!!!

    You know the more I think about the size of this little guy I am just amazed, given Sara's little petite size herself. He is equal to two of Robyn's little Jeremy! LOL! (Jeremy was 4 lbs. 9 oz. at birth). No wonder Sara was feeling so ready to have this little guy born, and small wonder that she could only go *flip floppin'" around at work!
