Yep. I got tired of carrying books of CD's to and from the car, etc. I've burned most of my CD collection to the iPod. The other thing is I can't see buying a whole CD for one song. I can go on iTunes and buy single songs.
Oh yeah and if you want the whole cd you can buy all the songs for cheaper than in the store. They are only $.99 each!!!!Originally Posted by GiantSchnauzer

Actually you can do that with a CD too, just burn the song right to the CD. I don't know what sites though, or how much they cost, but I tell my husband what songs I want and he burns them all onto a CD for me.Originally Posted by GiantSchnauzer
No, but I have a creative zen touch. Which is SO Much better, much better quality, and the price - cheaper! Besides, when I want a music product I will go with a company who specializes in music. Who better than Creative, a company founded on MAKING SOUNDCARDS. What does Apple speacialize in? Computers. Not sound, computers.
Besides its been a year or so and now MANY MANY MANY people are complaining about how their ipods are breaking, crapping out, falling apart for no reason... while my creative zen touch is still as good as the day I bought it.
With Apple... you are paying for the name.. that's it
Can you post a link to a product page for it? My shuffle lasted through me dropping it a thousand times and once throwing it at the wall (I can get a bit short tempered at times) and it even worked for a few weeks after it went through the wash

Probably not, because Apple products ONLY work with apple softwareOriginally Posted by Suki Wingy
Not sure if its the other way around, but I DO know that LOTS of other products out nowdays (windows media player, winamp to name a few) all are adding support for both Apple AND Creative MP3 players, as well as others.
I don't have one but really want one for Christmas or some other holiday!![]()
This is off topic but I find it interesting that no one voted that they didn't know what an ipod is, but in another poll several people had never heard of global warming... http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=106044
Whatever you think about ipods, Apple did a great job marketing them!
