Lola here, checking in... So we will do a grocery/liquor store run on Thursday [HAH, how appropriate] when I get in. Or maybe Friday. You, Gini, will already have some essentials (TP etc) and I will help with that ahead of time. Some attendees will be bring some stuff for The Event. We wing it from there. Sounds excellent

Actually, Gini and I will do the food and booze shopping on Wednesday so it will be all lined up for when you and Zippy arrive on Thursday. The only thing left for you two to do will be to don your parteee hats and slippers....

Gee....I guess this means I have to shave again....

LOL Richard. I think that the boisterious laughter coming from the three of us really pushed him over the edge that night. We were the only three left in the bar at closing...

Kelly, Dizzyland on Sunday?? We will all be up pretty late on Saturday so hopefully it won't be an early call. Not making any promises for Monday. I've got a day trip or two to plan while I'm there.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

whine and pout But what if there is a special something or other I want to fix or add to the mix that you may not think of? I can't bring everything I have planned on the plane. Oh well, I'll just jog over to the store whilst you guys sleep in Oh, daytrips... there is going to be a glorious photo exhibit in LA over the summer by this guy names Gregory Colbert called "Ashes to Snow". He takes photos of people and animals that are totally unbelievable. Check him out on Google if you can. Zip and I might ride our horses over to take a look see before she leaves.

Kelly, I just received a very special email from someone......(my lips are sealed) so my plans have changed. I can't do Dizzyland on Sunday at all....so it will have to be Monday for me.

No problem Laurie.....you and Gini can go and get the last minute supplies while I clean house....

Why do I feel as though this BBQ has taken on a whole life of its own, that doesn't have anything to do with the hostess that has invited everyone?

OH MY GOODNESS! Those are breathtaking!

Ya know Laurie, perhaps the only way we'll get to ride this trip is if we hire someone to do pony-rides in Gini's front yard! Wouldn't she (and the neighbors) just loooovvveee us for that one?! *snicker*

Slick, it depends... is the Cabana boy's name Juan? Is he from Spain? (Hope I remembered that right - otherwise I've just confused you! lol)

Laurie, are you saying that this exhibit will be in L.A.? It is in New York right now............amazing photos!!!

Pony rides on my front lawn..........???? Nothing would surprise my neighbors as long as they could ride the ponies too.

OK Zip.....this warrants and explanation. I'll put as agenda item #2 for Friday night in between the introductions and the "entertainment".

Those photos are amazing. I'd love to take in that show if it's in town at that time.
