Sorry to hear so many plans have had to change Somtimes life gets in the way!! But we do have another gathering planned for Labor Day, another long weekend...maybe we'll see you all then!!

I cleared one memory card (2 to go), and have Lemon Bars in the oven (Pecan bars are next). Camera batteries are charged, and I picked up some doggy treats today. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Ohhh, Joyce, I'm sorry that you aren't going to make it. I was really looking forward to meeting you and Ginger. Maybe it will happen someday.

I'm starting to gather my stuff up now. Getting ready to make some macaroni salad. Gotta get all the batteries charged, phone charged, make sure I have my directions and park pass. Ohhh, I wanna run out and fuel up this evening so I don't have to mess with that in the morning either. Oh, sunscreen too. Don't forget the sunscreen, people!

..looks like I'm coming! (....*knock on wood*..) my four day plan have shorten to one day, my sweet friend's gonna stay here & watch over for my two (two more!!) cats for me. so I'll be driving straight down there (in ol'bloppy car) early morning then leave right after the gathering - I don't think one day would hurt and I'll be having my pager with me in case of questions or cats are found!

We just finished dinner with Sue & Kaige, Joe & Indy- what fun! Will post more pictures later, but here's a nice "group" shot (except for Joe & JoJoe) It was quite a feat to get them all to sit still!

All our pups got along great, we enjoyed getting to know Sue & Joe. See you all tomorrow!

Do you have any idea How FAR it is from Rochester to Findlay, OH ????

It's 6.5 hours (380 miles) ...

IF you plan to drive TO Findlay and back Home the same day -
that's 13 hours of driving - without figuring in any stops.

You're younger than I am - but that's more driving in one day than you should be doing!

And do you have any idea How to FIND Findlay, OH??

I'd certainly be looking for someone to Ride Along - other than the Pup!

aw thank you phred. well, actually I have a place to stay over - two cities southeastern away in case a couple of sleep hours needed. but who can sleep worrying? I never been able to sleep anyway. so drive when you can! cats want me and I want them.

don't forget my successful roadtrip (first day was 14 hours total, to me, it was like five hours).. and being young helps!

yeah, I have the map and miles - only 6 hours, (being young) and everyone almost could come with me. thank goodness I didn't have to work.

anyway, I LOVE/MISS driving! (car stolen) and I can't wait. especially to meet you all.

Well - Keegan had a bath tonite so she ought to be nice and clean for tomorrow. I have treats and things for her ready - not bringing any food tho I hope there's still some left when I get there!
