Dear Pat, JoJoe and Star,
Sherman was a very special boy from the time I first held him in my arms. A very smart and loving Siberian. He was so blessed to have you as his parents. No Siberian could ask for a better Mom and Dad.
Godspeed my dear Shermie, I'm sure your friends Wanda, Tor, Kodiak, Paris, Glory and Julie will be waiting for you.
Our prayers are with you,
Sue & Mike
Bless you for making the unselfish decision to ease his passing. There is no need to drag this out until he's in more pain and suffering. I know how hard it is to lose a member of your family, and all I can say is how sorry I am, and how lucky he is to have you with him through this.

Thank you Kay for the awesome siggy!!!
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Phred, that was beautiful, sending Bowser and the gang to meet Sherman. I am sure he would appreciate that.

What a sweet photo. Thanks for sharing that with us. LES at work.Originally Posted by destinysiberians

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

This is the first I have posted about what has been going on with Sherman. Christy, the kids and the dogs have been here and with 8 dogs and 2 little ones here, I haven't been on the computer much - and I hate to say it but sometimes I don't hit the health section.
I can't believe that Sherman will soon be gone. I remember when you got him - I would never have thought we would be saying goodbye to him so soon. Of course, I will never forget Rosie and now Sherman. I wish you were still here so we could be there for you. Sherman is such a beautiful dog and sweet as could be. We will all miss him. Rob died two years ago this month - I can't write anymore now.
You will be in our prayers. Diana

Beyond the Rainbow
As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.
I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful -- lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.
I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm alright
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night.
'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.
