I know I haven't posted much as to who I've received, but I did receive Corinna/Tim's cards the other day. I got goosebumps as I opened and tears welled up in my eyes. How very special it was to see her handwritting once again. I always enjoyed the messages and gifts she sent us, and the great friendship she and I had.

I didn't get my cards out in time due to losing my job but I am sending cards out to each person on my list as soon as I get paid for the first time on Thursday. I am so very sorry but I promise I am sending special cards then. I hope no one is upset with me. I tried to do it before hand but money was VERY tight.

So look for a card soon from Marissa and I

That's fine, it will just mean Christmas lasts a little longer, as far as I am concerned!

    Thank you and an apology

I didn't know where to put this but since it's about cards, this is fitting place I guess.

I did not participate in the card swap but that did not stop many of you from sending me a card. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You've really cheered me up with your words and thoughts and pictures of your furbabies.

    {{{hugs}}} to all of you.

Now the apology. I have at the moment a stack of cards sitting on my dining room table. They are all addressed but I have not written anything in them yet. I have no excuse for not sending them...just laziness I suppose. I'm truly sorry about that. It was suggested to me that I should just tuck them away for next year, but I might send them anyway. Won't that extend the warmth of Christmas into January???

Slick, you can just change them to Happy New Year cards. I'm sure that no one will mind.

My friend's father always sent his cards after Christmas, and called them "Epiphany Cards!" After all, the Wise Men didn't get there overnight ... Send them anyway, Slick!
