Oh Deb how scary it must have been for your mom. I'm just glad to hear that no one was hurt in the accident. I do hope that your insurance covers a rental and your still able to come, but we all understand if your not able to. If not hopefully you'll be able to come some other time.

While at Pet Supplies Plus today I spied 2 huskies in the big tubs in the self dog wash! yupper Star and Sherman were getting prettified! I spoke to Pat but she had her hands too full of Sherman trying to escape to I think realize who I was! Then I saw the pretty Star in the car (hey I rhymed) while I was leaving!

Oh my gosh Staci! That was you! I do apologise, I got quite a shower from Sherman, who managed to slip out of the noose & was trying to make a break for it, lol! I'm so bad seeing people out of context, if only Keegan had been with you, I'd have recognized you instantly. Yes, Star & Sherman are all cleaned up, because it was such a nice sunny day out, good for lying in the sun & drying...NOT! 45 minutes later the thunderstorms arrived. We've still got a couple days to dry out before the festivities.

Gina - I would assume that you could contact Sue or Karen to let them know if you are coming. I most certainly would understand your decision to stay home! I wouldn't be able to go anywhere if my cats were missing! I hope you got your window fixed.

me too, I certainly hope I'll make to findlay! I'm not gonna give up...I've been looking forward to this, I've already missed pet talk's birthday party & 3rd BBQ events! one of my good friends could stay over here for two nights and watch out for them. only if at least 2/3 are found, and if I'd feel better. you can always hope, I think I still will be coming.

Just talked to my SIL - she willl not be coming - her boxer, Petunia, apparently ate something in the woods and became extremely ill - she still is in the doggie hospital right now. She is a little better today, but won't be up for a trip for awhile, just hugs and cuddles with mom!

I am very sorry to say that Paul and I will not be attending the gathering this time. Paul went to the doctor today, he has torn cartilage in his knee, it is swollen and he is in pain, and is unable to walk at all. I had held out hope that it would be something fixable so we would still be able to come, instead it is a "wait 4-6 weeks, and see."

I had so been looking forward to it, to meeting all the new people, petting and giving treats to the dogs old and new, I have my sidewalk chalk ready, ingredients for the cookies I would have brought, but it is just impossible. Sorry everyone!

aawww Karen and Paul - so sorry to hear this! But coming from a family full of knee injuries and 2 surgeries myself I can sympathasize! Lots of rest and ice in order!
