    Hello!

Well, we live in Findlay and frequent the dog park quite often but have never heard of this annual event! As I was searching through Google for some Memorial weekend events to check out around Findlay, this came up and what a surprise. We already have our weekend stop at the dog park on Sundays after lunch, so I can only imagine Josie's (our Bichon) reaction to coming around the corner this weekend and seeing tons of other four-leggers galavanting around after what she thought would just be another routine day with her and another dog or two in the park, having it all to themselves!

We also are a Small Paws Rescue foster and we will have a new rescue Bichon with us, Fluffy, that we have had for two weeks now and she has come out of her shell and is getting ready for a forever home, so hopefully she likes to see the other doggies and enjoy the sunshine, too. It will be her first trip to the famed dog park!

I guess we may be seeing some of you there and the weather looks to be Sunny with a high of 86, so we hope your event will be a success!
Josie's life is a hard life...

Welcome to Pet Talk, and we hope to meet you Sunday! We'll all be either in the Dog Park or at the Pavillion nearest it. I'm gonna be sure to pack my sunscreen, 86 sounds perfect!

Exclamation The Old 207 Bridge is Replaced ~ the NEW One is now *OPEN*!

It didn't and doesn't effect many folks - but having the New Bridge open to traffic
solves a problem - MapQuest can't get anybody LOST now!

The Lil Rickity Bridge that carried Township Highway 207 over the Blanchard River
down near the south-eastern corner of the Findlay Reservoir has been closed
for several years - and I doubt many folks even remember using it!
I was even told the Bridge would never be replaced ... so we learned the new route.
The Dawgs got upset a few times - but even they are tuned into the New Route
around the west side of the Reservoir. I don't get *Howled At* for going
    the wrong way anymore!

But MapQuest didn't wanna hear it! If they brought you in from the east, south-east,
or the south, using US Route 23 and OH-15 ... you were gonna be "sent" across
that closed Bridge - with NO "Detour" Signs to help guide you throught the back roads!

So all the MapQuesters that I've told to use "MY" approach to the Dog Park -
over OH-37 and coming up the west sode of the Reservoir -
you now have a choice - do it MY Way or the MapQuest way -
    you'll get there either way!

Drive Safely- whichever way you come!

    Question 25/75 chance ..

welcome, josers! glad you found this before having a heart attack.

folks, just a note - I now don't know if crayola & I will be coming. I do have a ride, there and back. I'm just desperately hopeful my three missing furkids will be back before I leave. 3 days left.. if they aren't, I wouldn't know what to do.

I'll update you all as soon as I know my decision. hey doggies, if you could share some crossed paws with moggies, please do so! there's the detailed link below - would be much hopeful & appreciated, thanks. oh, who should I call in case?

    Disaster strikes

Hey everyone. My heart is breaking as I type this, but I don't think we won't be able to make it this year.

My mom was supposed to meet me for lunch at work take Hugito with her so my co-workers could see him. She was supposed to drop me off in the morning, come home, pick up the baby and head back to my work. So, on her way back from dropping me off, she got in an accident.

Lots of blessings in disguise here. First and foremost, she wasn't hurt and neither was Maggy or Emma. Second, she didn't have Hugito with her and lastly, the damage isn't terrible. Either way, I can't see us going on a 5 hour road trip with my car in this condition. I'm really disappointed and very sorry. I was so looking forward to going.

There's still a very small chance that we'll rent a car to go, but that chance is slim to none.

    I'm really sorry.

Oh, how scary! I am glad everyone is okay, most of all.
If you do manage to come, we'd be thrilled to meet you, your husband, Hugito and of course Maggy, but we understand either way.

Maybe your insurance covers a rental car?

Prayers on their way for those in distress. I'm glad your mom & pups were okay, Deb. Cars are just cars, at least no one was hurt, although I'm sure she's shook up. If not this time, maybe next?
Gina, (((hugs))), all paws crossed on this end. Prayers and good vibes going out for you...hang in there.

Welcome Josers - I think we may have met at the dogpark last week, I remember meeting a little bichon. See you Sunday!

Deb I am so sorry to hear of your mom's accident! Very glad noone was hurt tho!
Welcome Josers! My golden Keegan and I will be there later in the afternoon. I hope the park isn't flooded with the storms that we had in the area today! I was in Findlay this afternoon! - woooow!

While at Pet Supplies Plus today I spied 2 huskies in the big tubs in the self dog wash! yupper Star and Sherman were getting prettified! I spoke to Pat but she had her hands too full of Sherman trying to escape to I think realize who I was! Then I saw the pretty Star in the car (hey I rhymed) while I was leaving! I want to try that sometime - not sure how Keegan's hips will handle it tho
Gina - I would assume that you could contact Sue or Karen to let them know if you are coming. I most certainly would understand your decision to stay home! I wouldn't be able to go anywhere if my cats were missing! I hope you got your window fixed.
