hmmm, 7:27 a.m. and I'm at work reading this, but it's OK... LES but nobody else is in yet. Too early to call you? (I went to bed really early last night). Oh dear, this would make it not quite 4:30 morning your time. Guess I'll wait a bit

So very glad to hear this! I know you're relieved and so are we. *throws confetti and passes out noise makers*

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.
    [/SIZE]

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

6:40 AM is a little early for me to start in on a lemon drop - but how about I just have a glass of orange juice with you?

Slick, wonderful news - I yelled out when I read your post - did you hear me?

As if cancer wasn't enough....I decided to smash my toe into the side of the couch last night. It's the third toe on my right foot and I'm sure it's broken because it's swollen and hurts like a son of a you-know-what. Right now I've got it taped to the second toe so hopefully it will heal quickly. Still, things could be worse.

Laurie: I've been awake since 4am.....my time......
Sara: Couldn't agree with you more. I just want this over and done with.
RH: Thanks for the advice and I'll ask the surgeon tomorrow morning.

To the rest of you, your support means more than you'll ever know. I wish I had everyone's phone number so I could call each of you and thank you. Big {{{hugs}}} to you all.

Edit: Gini, you and I posted at the same time. Yes I did hear you. Did you hear me yell back??? Lemon Drop for breakfast...come on, live a little.

I just have to share this. When I got into work on Monday there was a package on my desk from two coworkers who work at a branch office in Kelowna, BC. I opened it up and giggled. They sent me a rather large colouring book - all of cats, of course - and a huge box of coloured pencils. Looks like I'll be busy in the hospital. "Oh Mr. cute doctor, would you like to see my pencils???"
