I haven't tried it because I'm running scanner and raceview on the two computers here.
Another first time winner in Nashville. I was there to see 3 of the first-time winners. I'm not too sad to have missed the 88 winning though. It was too hot but at least it didn't pour rain like it has so many of the other times I've been there.
Congratulations Kasey and the 9 team!! This feels familiar. Gotta love those even years.
I've always like watching races at MIS. I think that may go back to the years that Bill dominated there. I always knew there was a good shot of having a good finish there. Kasey doesn't do too badly there either.I was NOT planning on going to MIS next weekend, but late changes in plans, and now I am! Can't wait for next Sunday!!!![]()
Anybody know how Tony ended up losing a lap? I don't know if it was cuase we had some power issues (storms) or if coverage was just bad but there was no explaination I saw....
I like MIS too...I just had accepted that I wasn't going to make it to the June race this year, and then last week found out a friend was going to be here from Iowa, so I offered to go to the race with him. I've been planning on going in August, so now maybe I won't make that one...we'll see.
Thanks. I fugured it had to be something like that, but never caught a reason.
I was soo happy that Kasey Kahne won.
makes me all excited for my favorite to win.
Tony was speeding out the pit?
I thought it was Earnhardt Jr, that did that, unless it was both of them...?

What I read on nascar.com was Biffle, Tony, Patrick Carpentier and Dave Blaney. Didn't see Junior mentioned, but who knows.
My theory is Tony will win this weekend. Why? Last year we went to the Prelude, Carl won. We went to Michigan, Carl won. This year, Prelude, Tony won......![]()
Petty Ent. just sold majority interest to some equity firm.
Hmmmmm, strange.
And a former NASCAR official is suing for 225 mil for sexual harrassment.
I read in the article that she was hassled from her "first day".....
Gotta wait and see what happens there.
I was wondering about the timing of the sale. I just think that huge moves in ownership should happen in the off season. It's pretty stressful to the teams involved -for the rest of the season - to see where the axe will fall next.![]()
True. Although it does have to help a little for Bobby to have his contract resolved and not have to worry where he will be driving next year...
Ralph just called me. He is up in Michigan this week for some training at Chrysler Headquarters. He was sitting in his hotel room and saw something large and orange drive by his window. He went outside to check it out and was by Tony's hauler when he called. Seems a little out of the way for the race, so it may be a show car, but he was going to call back and let me know what is going on....
