Gee, you must not have grown up in a Scandinavian-inhabited area! I am, as my user name is also my REAL name, a Karen. There were three Karens with my same last name in my own home town - and lots of other Karens, Karins, Karyn, etc. My elder siblings names are also Swedish, but not as common a choice as Karen!

anna 66, you beat me to it! While I was on Photoshop cropping some pix of me, you posted yours!

Anyway, these were taken Christmas morning, so my hair is uncombed and I'm still in my glasses in one and my eyes are closed in the other. Sorry they are not very good, but I normally don't let anyone take my pic, so the first one was "stolen", and the second one I was "tricked"!

That's okay, Logan. Don't worry about it - I'm used to it! Everyone always spells it with an "H".

My aunt continues to spell it with an h after I've repeatedly told her that she's spelling it wrong. She's even bought me things with my name on it, but spelled with an "h"

That must have been so strange to have 3 other people in your hometown with your name! How funny is THAT??!!

LOL I think I would have been freaked out if anyone had my name, because there aren't that many Riss's (Riss is my maiden name) around!
