It wasn't wrong of you to say that. People who think about supporting these pet stores should have the right to know where these pups come from. Then they can make the decision of killing puppies in sheltersor not buying from the pet stores.
You did nothing wrong at all. My mom would've said the exact same thing if I had done that. It's just, they don't understand the reality of what these poor animals go through.
Like Bob's Dad said, maybe you could start a rescue group or something. Maybe get some information off the internet and print it off and hand it out to people. They need to understand what is going on right in front of them.
