Thanks to EVERYONE who wished me a happy birthday! Mom had to work, but we did have a wondermouse game of "get the mousie" and mom even let me play with 10 or 11 of them at once, I did my favorite thing and pushed them all into the front closet under the door --- (I keep telling her that's where they belong, but she just keeps pulling them back out again - a kitty's work is never done!)

Mom wouldn't let me invite my friends from the "frat party" Kappa Kappa Kitty, ...said it would be too messy! But we did have a lovely day!

Oh, Ritzy, you were such a cutie pie as a kitten. I can see how your mom couldn't resist you. And you've grown (my how you've grown ) into such a beautiful lady. Even though you look all formal all the time, it appears you like to have fun and let your tux tails down a bit. Sorry we missed your Birthday, but I can see you really enjoyed yourself with all the mousies. Make sure you put them all back in the closet when your done!

Mom keeps thinking I'm too, uhh, "plush"...and limits my food to two small scoops per day, and only if I empty one first...but the vet sez I'm not fat, (but he'll probably say anything to get me out of his office, cuz I'm pretty crabby there--they don't smell anything like mommy, and put cold things in my hiney-hole )

Not to worry, Ritzy, you still look elegant and proper. Tubby was named Bitsy at first because his first mom thought he was just an itsy bitsy kitty. Little did she know..... And I've found a few extra pounds here and there aren't all bad when a kitty gets sick. I don't know if it was the way Tubby was standing or what the other day, but he actually looked skinny! I told him we'd have to start calling him Bag of Bones one of these days and he just looked at me then turned, lifted his tail in the air and walked away. So much for that idea.
