    Nope? Still don't work.

Edit- I took out the https in the first one and it worked.

Yes there is a difference. It's probably just posted by some canon supporter since it's the identical picture (i think, i looked quickly).

    Why not just get canon?

The Canon is probably much more expensive.

I'm suprised you've heard bad things about Fuji.. I own one and have no complaints except that there aren't enough manual controls - but mine is an entry level camera.

Well, not really bad, just not wonderful. Everyone just says "ehh ... it's alright" whereas Canons usually get a better response ... from people I know anyway

I'll take a look at those right now.

Do stores let you return cameras if you are not satisfied with them?

Here is a great review for the Fuji FinePix E510. I read on there that "soft" and blurry pictures are quite common with this camera.

Good luck on your camera hunt!

    *EDIT*

I just noticed that the pictures that you compared are from the site I posted. I thought it was a really helpful review.

My camera is a Fuji FinePix A303, and I am VERY happy with the quality of the pics. The only bad thing is that the camera is so "slow"

My first digi cam was a Fuji 2600 Zoom. I now have a Fuji S5000.

I've never had any problems or gripes about their abilities to take indoor pictures. The only things I didn't like about the 2600Z was that (1)it didn't record sound to go with the moves and, (2)as others have said, it was slow to take pictures.

Though now "old" in the world of technology, I am quite pleased with my S5000. I've entered (and placed in) photography/art contests with this camera. I realize it's not the one you're asking about, but... well, I'm very pro-Fuji. lol

    Have fun camera shopping!

    ~~Edit:~~
The only time my camera does NOT take crisp photos is when the batteries are low.

my E510 is actually rather quick on the trigger. I can take rapid sequence. And the pic pops almost instantly on the viewer. Ask Aaron - wolflady's hubby - he was quite surprised whenever he took pics with it.
My other one A345 is a bit slower at taking pics and showing them on the viewer.

    This is with the Fuji:

Notice how the Canon is nice and crisp while the Fuji is smoother?
How many megapixels are both cameras here? To me, it sounds like the fuji has lower quality or megapixels??? I'm not sure though

I have a Fuji Finepix 400-something ... I like it enough, but seeing other peoples pictures with Canons and such, it definitely does not stack up. I also notice that indoor pics are NOT crisp and when I take pictures indoors with the flash (using any setting) they just look really washed out no matter what. I have a Canon Digital Elph, which is a lot better, even though it's TINY! It's actually such a good camera that my bro-in-law, who is obsessed with technology, bought a newer version after seeing mine.

meh.. anyway, in short, I'd get a Canon over a Finepix if I could go back in time! Especially since my Fuji cost over $400.

My dad got my husband a Fuji digital camera as a gift. I can't remember the model, but its 5.2mp...perhaps the same or similar to the E510.

I have had two Sony's over the past 5 years. The first one was a 2.0mp. The newer one is a 3.2mp. The older one was good at the time, but of course it doesn't compare to our newer Sony, or the Fuji.....BUT, comparing my 3.2mp Sony to the 5.2mp FujiFilm...I like the Sony SO much better.

The FujiFilm makes AMAZING videos...extremely clear, sound quality is great. Videos are perfect with this camera. Pictures are excellent too, and macro mode is great, but I noticed it takes kind of 'fuzzy/soft/blurry' pictures indoors (when lighting is bad), and during night. My Sony's night pictures are amazing...very clear. The Fuji just isn't like that. It seems the auto-focus isn't as great. The flash also stays on when the lighting is bright, and the Sony doesn't do that. Flash goes on depending on the lighting...unless I turn it off. I noticed that helps in taking better shots. I have to turn the flash off with the Fuji everytime I want a good picture in bright lighting...and it becomes a bit of a hassle. Its nice when these things work on auto. Perhaps we're just not used to the Fuji and have to figure things out. Maybe there's a certain mode we need to put it in to fix the auto-features that we haven't discovered yet. I haven't played around with his Fuji camera that much yet, but so far, the quality doesn't seem as great as the Sony if the lighting isn't perfect. If the lighting is GOOD, then the pictures are great. We haven't read the manual yet, so MAYBE we're doing something wrong. The menu system is different from the Sony, so maybe I haven't figured it out right yet.

It IS a good camera, but it seems the Sony takes crispy clear pictures in any type of lighting, while with the Fuji, it really depends. If the lighting is right, its great, otherwise, it comes out fuzzy. My husband likes it, but I really think Sony's are better. I haven't had much experience with other cameras, but my uncle's Olympus takes great pictures, and my cousins have Canons, which are also really good.
