We use Pam, the vegetable oil spray, on Olivia's wheel. Olivia is much more enchanted with her water bottle though....it dangles from a wire on the side of her cage...we call it her punching bag, as she bats it around every night!!!

AH! The sound of a hamster wheel squeeking in the night! One of my fondest childhood memories. Calhoon loved to keep me awake. This was in the days before cooking sprays. I wish I had thought of shortening!
