what's so sad, that I have gotten to trust animal, more then I trust humans. What really upsetting to is puppy season should be over with, but no we just get a new litter in our shelter every week!!! I mean this week we found purebred lab puppies!!! people thease days!!! they just don't understand.Originally Posted by dab_20

Get Your Dogs Fixed!!!
There are already bunch of chihuhua's or chihuahua mixes needing homes. Please do not add to that!!!!
ya.. well we're kinda low on money right now...but we still have the food to feed them and all. My dad said for my mom to bring me to the vet tomorrow, so I will talk to them about how much and all...I was just asking cause I was just curious and she was doing weird stuff...but ya
There are spay and neuter clinics in my area that charge only $15 to spay a small female dog! And with excellent equipment and trained vets like any vet office. =)
I'm glad you are being responsible for your dog by spaying her, having rescued a gorgeous little Chihuahua girl from near death at a county shelter a few years ago (she is now loved by my sister and her family), I have experience with seeing an abundance of wonderful homeless chi's. Adding to that population for any reason other than bettering the breed is completely wrong.
I'm am so thrilled your family changed their mind!!! I thank you, shelter thank you, and your beutiful chi's thank you!!!!!

Check into your local rescues and shelters.. Most have subsidized spay and neuter programs for those with lower income. We're actually getting Molly spayed at ours here.Originally Posted by chealy731
I think it's really great that shelters are doing this for those who cannot not afford the costs at high priced vets.
