computer question about deleting files

Ok, so I know how to delete your history, showing the sites you've been on and stuff. But, what I want to know is...is there any way to delete what you've searched for? Like in yahoo...when I type in a letter, it immediately pulls up everything I've searched for that starts with that letter. Is there any way to delete that stuff? I thought deleting the cookies would take care of that...obviously, I'm wrong and want to know if anyone knows how to delete that.

I had the same problem in Netscape.. but now i use FireFox and dont have that problem.

well, it's not really a problem...i mean, it's supposed to keep your searches on file like that...i would just think there was a way to delete them...

your right,, it wasnt really a problem. but i found it to be rather annoying when mine did that. espically if you searched for something embarrasing,, like how to get rid of warts...LOL

Tell me about it. I used to work at a company that made industrial fluids and lubricants. I must have had a bowl of stupid on the day I did a search on "water-based lubricants"
