Favorite Retriever?

My favorite is the Field Lab, but to tell you the truth I love all of the retrieving breeds except the Curly Coat because I've never met one and I don't know anything about the breed. Plus, I don't like curly-coated dogs ... their fur is ... wierd.

I want to own one of each (or maybe more than one ) some day ... minus the Curly-Coated unless if I fall in love with the breed, which is very possible.

I don't have any favourite retriever but from the pictures I like the flat coat retriever best, look at that coat so shiny

Goldens! Used to walk my neighbour's when I was a little girl. The poor thing was neglected by her family but she still had the loveliest nature.....

Wow, what an INCREDIBLY hard choice, I too want to own all of the retrieving breeds someday, they are my favorite group of dogs. The only one I probably wouldn't own is the English/show Labs, I really don't like them.

I can't decide if I ever want an English/show Lab or not. They're just as sweet as Field Labs but SO much more laid back. And I like more active dogs. Plus I don't really like the stocky, block-head look.

Flat coats, hands-down. I used to walk Star with a man who had a lovely rescued flat-coat who was a frisbee FIEND! *Grin* I miss her, she was a doll.
