-20C is an average high in December & January. We get about three weeks usually where -40C is the high and -30C isn't unusual.

I think Deuce seemed aggressive because he was insanely bored. Deuce spent about 3 years as a stray. He had a route of houses he stopped in at and got food. But no one claimed ownership of him. The village he was running around decided that Deuce and two of his buddies needed to be shot as they were getting into garbage cans. A very nice young man tied them up in his yard and kept them until there was room in the shelter. So Deuce went from total freedom to a chain to 6X4 box. He'd never been inside before, never had any training, never known a rule in his life. He is extremely high energy, always on the go. He was bored out of his mind. He's never shown any aggression here where he has room to stretch his legs, even when he was hurt and in pain.

For commercial treats, they like Canine Carry-Outs, pigs ears and liver flavored biscuits.

Their favorite treat though can't be bought in a store. They love moose bones! Love them! Fortunately, we have a good friend who is a wild game butcher. He keeps the huskies well stocked with bones. He actually supplies with a lot of their food. They eat meat scraps several times a week.
