An accident...prayers for Major please

Oh no. Oh my goodness not another one. I am so very sorry. Good thing you brought him to the vet, even as a precaution. This is something you don't want to mess with.
Major & you are in my prayers and will be for the next few weeks!!

Kaige just got into some yesterday. You sure got lucky though. Kaige is just a young puppy which makes it more dangerous & he was allergic to the injectable Vit. K.

How long does Major have to be on the Vit K treatment for?

God knows this is something that neither of us want to encounter again, or anyone else for that matter.

Hope Major will be ok!

I will try to respond to your comments and answer questions tomorrow, sorry I do not have the time now. Thank you everyone though. Major is ok as of right now. I'm still worried about him though. I found blue poop and the rat poison was in blue cubes. He's not showing any symptoms or gum bleeding though.

Oh Maria! I just saw this thread. How is Major today? I hope he continues to get better. What a scary situation to be in. Two PT dogs within a week hurt from Rat Poison.

A few years ago, my friend's GSD got into some rat poison, and they didn't know it until she started bleeding. With the Vitamin K treatment she got better quick, and 4 years later is doing fine.
