Which fur do you prefer?

I voted for Smooth,, short,, medium,, long,, and pet clip. (but i forgot to vote for curley)

i also voted for pet clip.. becasue i hate the type of haircuts Poodles have in the show ring...
it just looks stupid to me,, to have big bombs of hair here and there,,
and shave other places baby butt bald.

I've always been attracted to medium-long coats.. Shelties, Collies, Afghans, Border Collies, Borzois.. but after having two long double coated dogs, I can honestly say that I'm ready for a short coated dog.

Haha! That's what I was thinking. Trust me, you're not

Short haired dogs shed just as much (if not more!) than long, double coated breeds. Gissie has proven the exception

It has actually gotten to the point where I use the lint roller on her LOL!

I plan on getting something like those horse groom-vac things but smaller for my future dals

edit: lol Sophie, me too, I cringe when I see a shaved dog and a "pet clipped" dogs make me wonder why the owners just don't spend a little more time to grooming their pets.

Smooth & short, medium & long double coat's are all my favorite, I couldn't pick just one. lol

Although with my carpel tunnel (sp?) getting worse I'd have to say it's easier on me to own smooth, short & medium coats now. lol But I still love the husky fur!!!
