    Ohhh Donna,
THank you so much. H eis upstairs in my husband's study. He is in a big dog crate that will be his home for several weeks as the vet has strict discharge orders. He cannot have any interaction with the other fur kids for 3-4 weeks. He has a little collar on to keep him away form his incision. He has to try and stay quiet, no running or jumping etc for 3-4 weeks. We have to TRY and hold him back.
This precious little baby has had two major surgeris in the past few days that has ended with an amputation.. an dyet puuuuurs and puuuuurs and tries to play. He is an angel from heaven and I also have a feeling that once he is healed and up and about.. he'll be hell on wheels which I look forward to!

Thank you all so much for your constant love and support. I'll try and take his picture tomorrow as ALL of you are his new Aunts and Uncles.

    Love you all,
    deb

WHAT BEAUTIFUL babies you have!!!! SO GORGEOUS!!!!

Well Jesse spent a quiet night.... woke up this morning.. this little rascal had taken off his protective collar and had missed the box top. I guess it's going to take some time to learn to balance on three legs.
I let him out while I was cleaning up his crate.. THat boy took off in the room.. headed right for his Daddy's shoes. Tucker has a show fetish.... looks like I have another one.

He is a good eater. Licked his bowls. I just fed him his breakfast. Jim and I were looking at his feet last night. He has BIG feet. I have a feeling this little man is going to be a big boy.

I'll take a picture today and post it for you!

    Thank you again and again.

What a little rascal he is! Now you have two cats that love shoes...you might want to check all of your shoes before you put them on!

he's a pistol packin pusseycat that's for sure! He LOVES his Daddy's shoes.. I gave him some fuzzy toys that the other boys never play with. he is a happy little camper.

I am so LUCKY! Dear Lord I am so lucky that he was thrown away!
Their trash is my treasure! This boy purrs ALL the time. He is such an angel.

My husband is even thinking of maybe getting him a prosthesis. Nothing is too good for his fur children. Bless his heart.

    I love you all,

    Mommacat,

PM me with your address and I'll send him something to aid his recovery. It is THE world's best home grown fresh dried catnip, guaranteed to make the pain go away. Well, maybe not go completely away, but at least he'll be too stoned to realize it.

Hugs and smoochies to you and Jesse.

    Awww Moos Mom,

    Ohh bless your heart...
But I am not a believer in Catnip.

    Got any other ideas?

The other boys are growling and hissing at the baby...Baby has hissed back. I think he has been thru way too much to take any poopoo from any of the big boys.

He is starting to play like a champ. I bought him his own toys today... He and his daddy were playing tonight. My Husband said he was chasing the little foam balls, his tiger's tail, his mouse, the leaves on a plant. You name it. My hubby said this boy is a maniac! he LOVES to play... something I doubt he has done much.

Tucker is hissing at the little guy.
Morgan is hissing and acting out some. growling and hissing at me when I pick him up. Clayton is in total denial. He is ignoring the baby. He is presently on my chair with me.. snuggled up against my leg.

Jesse is oblivious.. he just wants to explore the best he can.. play with his and the big boys toys and be held.

    SMOKEY'S MOMMA!!!
When you fur child had the amputation...was she a baby or an adult? If she was a baby how long was it before she could use a real litter box? We are using lids from canned food that I get frm Pet Smart. He is 4 months old but very small. Guess his situation before this was NOT conducive to a happy healthy environment. He only weighs 3 pounds. H ei s pretty thin. You can still feel his little ribs. I feed him Science Diet dry food for kittens and IAMS Wet for kittens. he has a good appetite.. Is there anything else I should be giving him to help put some meat on these little bones?
His plumbing is working overtime. This little man is a GREAT pooping machine!

I take him to my awesome vet on Tuesday for the complimentary free visit because he is an SPCA adoption. I adore my vet. She has a heart as big as the universe and SOOOO gentle. She will melt when she sees him.

    love you all,
    deb
