    thanks everyone for the complements I just can't wait I get to pick her up tomorrow!!! ...

    Adoremydogs:
    yes a cow could make a pet but they require ALOT of time and patients!!!!...it is best to get them when they are 6 month old..that way you have had them since they have been weined and they haven't been on their own to much so they depend on you more...you need to have someone with you that knows what they are doing for the halter breaking and all as for sertain breeds all breeds will have one bad apple temperment doesn't depend on the breed all you need to know is weather you want a big,small,medium sized cow ..I hope that I have helped

    My husband's favorite show cow from his 4-H days was named "Hazel." She was a dairy cow (Holstein), but I still think it is a good name.
