    The reason I don't have mine up is because I guess I didn't feel it quite necessary for the whole world to know my birthday. LOL! No important reason. I just normally only put what's 'required' in the profile when joining a board, and anything that isn't required, well...its sometimes left out. Its just not important to me that the whole board should know when its my birthday.

    Isn't it funny how differently people handle this one? I love birthdays and I don't mind one bit if someone starts a birthday thread for me or if they know how old I am. OLD!!!! I always try to respond to the ones that are posted if I have some sort of relationship with the person who is celebrating. I am bad about looking to see who is having a birthday, though.

    Another reason that I have always left mine in my profile is in case someone doesn't know me well enough and wonders what age person I am. Sometimes you just want to know. But I do not fault anyone for not having their birthday or at least the year on there.
