I just heard from the vet that she made it through the night without any vomiting or diarrhea and that I should be able to take her home today. He did say there were some slight abnormalities in her blood work but we'll talk about that more later.

My home felt so empty last night!

Thank you everyone for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers! We really appreciate it!

I know what you mean about the house being empty. I hope the abnormalities aren't serious. I'll bet you'll be glad when she's back home. Glad she's at least feeling better.

Good thoughts going to Maggy. I hope the vet didn't find anything seriously wrong. Let us know how she's doing.

A load of good wishes coming your way. Hope you get to take her home and that all will turn out alright.

Maggy came home last night!!! I picked her up from the vet and said those "abnormalities" in her blood were nothing significant. Then why bring it up and scare the tar (for lack of a non-four letter word) out of me? He said she did fine and thinks she had a small bout of gastritis. She shouldn't have any more problems with it, thank goodness.

I made her a special dinner of chicken and rice which she ate up in a New York minute, but wasn't up for playing. That suprised me because after her Retina hernia surgery, she immediately went looking for her ball as soon as she came home.

She was a little bit more active this morning, but probably still pretty tired from being hospitalized. She ate again this morning, hopefully without incident.

Thank you again, PT for your thoughts and prayers for my sweet little girl. It was so good to have her home again.

Yay! What great news. I hope she's back to normal in no time.

Do you have to feed her a special diet or anything?
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.
