Not exactly sure the type of facial expression your looking for so I'll just post a few.

And I know he looks pretty old in these pictures so if you don't want to use any of them I'd totally understand.

I too find that chows have a bad reputation. One time there was a lady who was boarding her dog at my work and she came back to set her dog up in his room. When she saw the chow in one of the other rooms she jumped back. I'll never forget it because the chow was sleeping in his bed when the lady jumped. I asked her what was wrong, she said "that's a chow, I hate chows, their mean". I could've hit her. Cinnamon (the chow) is so sweet. Chows are one of my favorite breeds. I only know a few of them (5 that I can think of that I actually know in person- meaning not PT dogs), but I've never had a problem with any of them.
